Between 4 and 6 June 2024, 140 people from c4c beneficiaries met in Bergen, Norway, for the c4c General Assembly. This meeting was a great opportunity for colleagues to meet again and collaborate further for the benefit of the c4c network.
The aim of this meeting was to provide an update on progress to date and to discuss plans for the future of c4c, particularly now that the conect4children Stichting (c4c-S) has been established to support the c4c network and continue the great work that c4c has done. This meeting also allowed the network to come together and celebrate the successes achieved so far.
During the meeting, the President of Fondazione Gianni Benzi, Fedele Bonifazi, presented a report on the status of the c4c Information System (c4c IS). He reported that the c4c IS had been upgraded to version 2.0, with major enhancements to functionality and user experience. In addition, the first version of the system for the c4c-S was released. He also presented new dashboards for the Site Profiles and SPoC (Single Points of Contact) modules. The Site Profile dashboards provide an overview of the network capabilities and infrastructure supporting paediatric clinical trials in Europe. SPoC dashboards provide a detailed visual representation of the internal processes handled by the SPoC team.
