ORGANIZATION CHART

Fondazione per la Ricerca Farmacologica Gianni Benzi Onlus has an articulate organizational structure that allows the effective management of all activities. It provides for 5 organs: the Board of Directors, the Scientific Committee, the Scientific Office of the Presidency, the Research Department and the Management and Administrative Department.

Board of Directors

It indicates the management policy of the Foundation, approving its objectives and programs. It establishes the general lines of the activities on an annual basis, approves the annual budget, appoints the members of the Scientific Committee, the President and the Secretary. It decides also on all acts for the administration of the Foundation's assets and the management of revenues.

Scientific Office of the Presidency

It takes care of and promotes the external image of the Foundation, promotes networking activities with other bodies and entities operating in the same areas of interest as the Foundation. Revises the scientific production and, in collaboration with the Research Department, takes care of and writes the contents of the communication and supervises the full functionality of the related tools. It plans training events and supervises their proper implementation.

Composed of eminent experts in the field appointed by the Board of Directors and coordinated by the Responsible of the Research Department, the Scientific Committee advices on relevant scientific topics and collaborates with the Board of Directors in defining the Foundation’s programmes and activities.

Organized into three units (Ethics and Regulatory, Research Methodology and IT Laboratory), it is involved in implementing research activities and participating in calls for funding, producing scientific works for the dissemination of research results and contents for training activities.

Administrative and Management Department

It is divided into three units: Administration, Research Management and Secretariat. It takes care of implementing the administrative activity according to the Secretary's address, taking care of relations with external suppliers, keeping the minutes of the Board of Directors, managing the collections and payments, prepares project reports and personnel costs. Furthermore, it guarantees general secretarial activities and provides for the organization of events and courses.
