The webinar "A magnifying glass in the world of the medical device development" concludes the series of webinars “A journey in paediatric medical devices: from regulations to clinical case studies and patients involvement” organised within the European Paediatric Translational Research Infrastructure – EPTRI. It will be held on January 20th, 2022 at 11.00 CET and it will be focused on the medical device (MD) development.

During the webinar, case studies will be presented that will focus on several interesting fields of MDs such as a new MRI mini capsule marker device to measure whole intestinal transit, a medical device capable of stimulating arousal to support patients with Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome and a system for the detection of neonatal seizures (ANSeR - Algorithm for Neonatal Seizure Recognition).
Speakers are Professor Luca Marciani (University of Nottingham, UK), Engineer Caterina Piazza (IRCCS E. Medea, Italy), Professor Geraldine Boylan (University College Cork, Ireland, and Irish Centre Maternal & Child Health Research – INFANT).
