The results of the study conducted by Prof. Luca Santi on the production of biopharmaceuticals in plant and realized thank to the liberal contributions supplied by the Gianni Benzi Pharmacological Research Foundation are published on the website of the Foundation.

In this research activity a plant viral system was developed for the creation of bion-particles with techniques of genetic engineering. In particular, the Tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV) was used as viral vector, while plants of tobacco was used as guest.

25/05/2011 - The IV Foresight Training Course (Rome 1 - 3 September 2011)

The IV Foresight Training Course has been launched.

The fourth Course of the Benzi Foundation will be held in Rome on 1-3 September. In line with the previous editions, the course is inspired by the European trends concerning pharmaceuticals, with special attention to the advancement in the Clinical Trials methodology and translational studies supporting drug development and post-marketing drugs use (Revision of CT Directive, Pharmacovigilance implementation, EudraCT, ecc).
